The AGM went went well and we now have a new Chairman, Geoff Oman, and Trevor and Claire Barden are taking over as Technical Officer and Newsletter Editor respectively.

Jan Charity organised another very successful rally at Upton despite being unwell. We hope that a bit of rest will get her back on form.
One of the attendees at Upton was Dennis Kearns, who’s bought a 650 so that he can catch up with a few old friends at rallies.

It is with great sadness that I have to inform members of the death of our chairman, Dave Jackson after a long battle with cancer. He passed away earlier today, 16 August 2009. Our thoughts are with his wife, Ann, at this very difficult time.
This years AGM was held during the Chainbridge Rally at the Alice Springs Golf Club on Sunday 19th July.
Several new appointments to the committee were made.
Due to the continuing poor health of chairman Dave Jackson, Steve Phillips was appointed vice chairman until he can take up the reins again.
Toni Browning has stepped down as rally coordinator and Angela Wood has taken her place.
Dave Lawson replaces Mike Woodhead as Treasurer.
Vera Watson is now Disciplinary Officer, Len Browning standing down as he is no longer
